Custom Concepts
While we do provide our standardized menus as a guideline for you
based on our most popular requests - what we really enjoy doing is
flexing our creative muscles and involving the client in the
developmental process. This ensures a unique menu targeted especially to you.
Quality of Service
Our
two Executive Chefs have over 25 years of combined experience in the
fine dining industry. 15 years of that has been solely on St
John perfecting our art at the island's premier restaurants such as Asolare, Paradiso, Chateau
Bordeaux, Chloe and Bernard's, Ten Tables and La Tapa.
In a inherently
transient field and on a small island such as St John, it can be hard to
retain quality personnel. St John Catering doesn't experience this
problem. All of our front of the house family are seasoned veterans
that come by way of internal recommendations and are pooled from St
John's finest restaurants including but not limited to: Stone Terrace,
Tage, ZoZo's, and Asolare.
Private Chef Service
Regardless
of party size, all of our Formal Private Chef services include an
experienced server. We average about one server for every eight
guests. Our level of service is never compromised.
A complimentary bottle of house wine is also included in all of the Formal Private Chef services. Your selection will be made once your menu has been created.
Provisioning and Beverage Purchases
As
mentioned on our Grocery Page, provisioning is not a skilled craft. Anyone can stock a fridge and provide beverages but who else does that
at cost with just adding 20%? We give our clients the added
benefit of our wholesale prices as a courtesy of booking with us. This includes wine, liquor and beverages as well as standards like bacon, eggs and coffee. Our provisioning list is also custom, which is why we don't list prices.
