There's nothing we love more than a good bachelorette party, and we definitely got our fill with seven Denver-area ladies as they partied it up at Gallows Point last weekend.
We don't get over to Gallows as often as we'd like, and we were pleasantly surprised to find the condo's recently renovated kitchen, stocked with top of the line, state of the art cookware: a solid treat! We served up some mahi mahi with fresh avocado and mango salsa, buttered green beans, dominican rice and beans and pineapple tarte tartin family-style, and the ladies just ate it up. We'd originally planned on salmon, but we happened to come across some wonderfully fresh mahi, and the ladies loved the island-y way we prepared the fish. The bachelorette party was organized as a surprise by the bride for her friends, who found us online when searching for St. John caterers. Not everyone might consider having their bachelorette party catered, but it totally added an element of fun to the event. And the ladies promise that next time they come down, we'll be cooking for them again, so apparently we did something right. |
