Aaaaand, we're back! Yep, it's been a while since we checked in, but it turns out that's a good thing because we've been all kinds of busy.
The holiday season was insane, complete with catering gigs for plenty of noteworthy Hollywood types (we'll never tell who!). We're also enjoying the Gallows Point managers party, a bi-monthly gathering hosted by the resort to thank their guests. We love serving up the apps at this event, because it allows us to mix things up and be creative based on what foods are available at the time.
We recently had some fun clients staying at the fabulous sprawling A La Mer villa, which we absolutely love. During the group of 18's three week-long stay, we packed up and delivered meals to the home an average of five to six nights a week. No muss, no fuss, and no coordination of an entire wait staff to pull it off. We like!
In the spirit of charity, which we're no strangers to, we've donated a four course dinner for eight at the new Eco Serendib villa for the Gifft Hill School's 25th annual gala and auction on March 12 (visit www.giffthillschool.org/auction to bid).
And coming up, we've got some big t'ings going on, like a lot more events at Norbu on St. Thomas, and a busy wedding season with close to 10 weddings already booked for April. Also in April, Mathayom and Steve will head over to St. Croix to participate as judges at the St. Croix Food and Wine Experience.
